Faculty of Engineering Sana'a Universtiy

In October 1983, the faculty of Engineering was established with the Civil Engineering Department followed be the Electrical Engineering Department. In 1986 Architecture Engineering Dpartment was established followed by the Mechanical Engineering in 1993. Finally, the Basic Engineering Sciences Department was launched in the year 2008. Recently in 2012, the Mechatronices Department was established according to the faculty's goal to fullfill the demands of labor market

Our Goals

  • • Graduating students with broad based knowledge and fundamentals of engineering to solve problems, generate new ideas, and develop products for the need of the society.
  • • Satisfying the needs for the applied engineering and technology.
  • • Enhancing the economical growth through updating the outcomes of the Faculty and these outcomes as graduates can serve the country for the development and compete in the labor market i.e. regional and international one.
  • • Improving the professional skills.
  • • Encouraging the academic staff to conduct scientific research by arranging new equipment and updating the available laboratories.
